The role
We’re looking for an energetic and results-driven ANZ Business Development Lead to drive outbound sales across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll be key in shaping and executing sales strategies that build strong relationships, generate new business, and deliver exceptional outcomes. If you're passionate about sustainability, love the thrill of sales, and thrive on building connections, this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing and executing effective outbound sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Reaching out to potential clients through calls, emails, social media, and collaborating with marketing to expand our reach.
- Empowering our team with the tools and confidence to generate leads.
- Using AI-driven tools to find and maximise lead generation opportunities.
- Owning the sales process—from lead generation to deal closing—and celebrating the wins.
Building Strong Client Relationships
- Understanding client needs and offering tailored sustainability solutions.
- Ensuring a seamless experience from first contact to onboarding.
- Being a go-to person for client support throughout the sales cycle.
Spotting New Opportunities
- Keeping a pulse on industry trends and market conditions.
- Identifying new business opportunities and keeping us ahead of the competition.
Collaborating with Experts
- Partnering with our in-house experts to boost proposals and showcase our depth of expertise.
- Ensuring every client solution is comprehensive, high-quality, and impactful.
Tracking & Reporting
- Setting, monitoring, and reporting on sales targets.
- Using CRM tools to track leads, sales activities, and client interactions.
- Providing insights and recommendations to leadership on sales performance.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in outbound sales, ideally in consulting or sustainability.
- A strong track record of hitting (and exceeding) sales targets.
- A natural communicator who builds connections easily and thrives on solving problems.
- Proactive, driven, and able to work collaboratively with both internal teams and clients.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Most importantly, a passion for sustainability and making a positive impact.
